Many add-ons have issues when updating XBMC, Kodi and Media Center (Kodi). When updating it’s likely that you will run into issues with the new version installed. If you experience erratic behavior or any of these apps not starting, you should perform a data wipe for that app.
Many add-ons do not survive updating (Media Center) Kodi and XBMC, so you will want to clear the data and install any add-ons.
To clear your data:
Go to Settings, go to Apps, click on “Media Center” then choose “Clear Data”. Now you may start Media Center (Kodi) for a clean first run. Install your add-ons.
It’s that easy! Now you can run Kodi/XBMC on your G-Box (or any other Android device for that matter) again.
